“We went during off season, and didn't realize it would be so cold, many places closed, and a few of the lakes frozen over. So if you go late in the year, don't expect those promo pictures. That being said, the day we went it was snowing most of the day and everything was covered in a fresh white coat. The stop in Cortina was nice, as we were there just before the Olympics and saw the official clock and the 'rings'.
